  Welcome to Conference 2005


Health care delivery system is in the process of evolution. The Medical Science and Technologies are undergoing rapid changes, requiring qualified and well trained personal to take up these challenges. Highest Quality of health care provided to patients is the ultimate goal of every member of the healthcare system of this region. Introduction of health promotions and other community initiatives are new success stories. The corner stone of all the above efforts is the existence of qualified, updated, well trained and well informed doctors and health personnel to handle all emerging situations.

This 3-day conference will assemble distinguished international, regional and local experts and practitioners interested in this very important task in view of the series of events developed in the Arabian Gulf region.

  The Conference Objectives are :

Encourage local, regional and international participants to pool together current information on the basic and clinical aspects of the causes, risk factors, patterns of presentation etc., and to assess availability of community integral approaches, techniques and management modalities including rehabilitation of common diseases worldwide and with specific reference to the Arabian Gulf region.
   
Develop a consensus on the best approach to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with common diseases in the Arabian Gulf region in the new millennium.
   
Provide state-of-the art and innovative basic, applied, and clinical information, on common diseases in the new millennium.
   
Emphasize the role of Gulf physicians and medical bodies on health policies and re-engineering of health care delivery system. Review current legislation and bylaws. Participate in the decision making process.
   
Exchange professional experience in medical insurance, medical ethics, medico-legal aspects of professional misconducts etc
 
Highlight and promote regional Medical Education including CME / CPD and Specialization programs in the Arabian Gulf.
   
Encourage and support the role of community sectors and representatives as one of the, if not the, main alliance for health as integrated responsibility.
